Visual Design and Keynote Wizardry
Purin Phanichphant graduated from Stanford’s Joint Program in Product Design and is currently an Experimenter and Visual Storyteller at IDEO. He stopped by class to give students a look at the good, the bad, and the ugly in visual design and shared his secret recipe for making stuff look pretty.
This deck is filled with valuable and easy to digest pointers to gaining confidence and getting started with visual design. He suggests ways to use keynote, copy good examples (& surround yourself with inspiration), and presents some strategies for practice.
It’s 102 slides long, but it’s a quick “read”; most slides are a single image or statement.
